Fighting Lions plan fundraiser
On May 11 the 2012-13 Southern Wake Academy’s “Fighting Lions” sponsors (left to right): Tyler Fleming, owner, On The Snap; Jonathan Holland, State Farm Insurance; Marguerite Greene, MARCCOM; Jill Schnake Roeder, On The Snap; Keve Butterfield, Butterfields Interior Designs; Robin Wellings Loftus, Edward Jones and Southern Wake Academy’s Carroll Reed, Director and Shelba Levins, Athletic Director gathered to kick-off the Friday, May 18, “Family Fun Night Fund Raiser” at On The Snap, 6-9 p.m., to benefit the school’s athletic department. The sponsors’ contributions and the money raised from the Family Fun Night will be used to underwrite the costs to field various school sports teams. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
