Fuquay-Varina Museums earn Blue Star distinction Announced yesterday, the Fuquay-Varina Museums have been named a Blue Star Museum site.
“We thought it was just a nice thing we could do for such deserving people,” museum volunteer director Shirley Simmons said.
Blue Star Museums allow military personnel and their families to visit for free from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2013.
