Arrests

Tayfon Lee Atkinson, 21, of Wendell, was charged with assault on a female on July 13.

Jarett William Brown, 21, and Gregory William Brown, 53, both of Fuquay, were charged with assault following a physical altercation on July 15.

Joseph Wayne Smith, 27, of Fuquay, was served with a failure to appear violation on July 15.

Police arrested Jonathan Todd Kreuger, 17, of Lillington, after responding to a call at Food Lion on July 15 in reference to a suspicion person sitting on a bench in front of the store, allegedly drinking a beer and scaring customers with his actions. Kreuger was charged with drunk and disruptive conduct.

Curtis Leon King, 21, of Holly Springs, was arrested for a probation violation with the NC Department of Corrections on July 16.

David Marc Meade, 31, of Fuquay, was charged with driving while impaired on July 16.

Antonio Lee Massey, 21, of Willow Spring, was charged with driving while impaired on July 17.

An unnamed suspect was arrested for attempting to steal shoes and a wallet from Kohl's on July 17.

Thefts

An attempted breaking and entering was reported at the Guardian Angel Thrift Store on North Main Street on July 15. A subject tried to pry open the automatic glass door causing damages of $1,000.

A breaking and entering was reported at a residence on Woodrow Street on July 12. A subject entered the home through an unlocked door and took several items, including a cell phone and a video game system.

A robbery was reported at Peggy's Hallmark on Broad Street on July 16. Reports say the suspect brandished a gun and demanded money.

The breaking and entering of a motor vehicle in a parking lot area on North Grassland Drive was reported on July 13. Numerous items were taken during the theft, including a Paslode air gun, tools and tool boxes. Thieves gained entry into the vehicle by breaking a window, causing damages of $300.

A larceny was reported at a residence on Steelhorse Drive on July 17. A subject reportedly took gold jewelry, valued at $1,000, from a bathroom cabinet.

The theft of a set of golf clubs from a victim's front deck on Creekway Drive was reported on July 17.

The theft of a GMC Sierra, located in a parking lot on East Broad Street, was reported on July 21. The case is under further investigation.

A senior citizen reported a suspect committed fraud and took $3,500 in cash from their residence on Sethcreek Drive on July 21.
