According to CAP President & CEO, Gary G. Roth, this year’s class of award winners is the largest since the program began in 1994. “In a time of economic stress,” said Roth, “it is a testament to the good economic value of historic preservation that so many individuals, corporations and municipal governments have chosen to rehabilitate and reuse historic properties rather than demolish and replace.”
The event will take place at Caffé Luna, 136 E. Hargett Street, Raleigh. Cocktails and hors d’oevres will be available from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The award presentation begins promptly at 5:45 PM. Tickets are required. Advance tickets are $10.00 per person. Tickets at the door are $20.00 per person. Please call Capital Area Preservation at 919-833-6404 for ticket availability or email info@cappresinc.org.
