Attendees can enjoy educational exhibits and interactive activities for people and dogs, including the Kids Kennel area with an obstacle course and tail-wagging fun games. There will be a fast-paced flyball exhibition, agility and obedience demonstrations, and a leash training workshop. Pet owners are invited to dress their dogs in their Halloween best and enter in the K-9 Costume Contest.
Several rescue organizations will have dogs available for on-the-spot adoptions. Wake County Animal Care, Control, and Adoption Center will provide $5 rabies vaccinations and $10 microchip services.
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
