The Fuquay-Varina Baseball Banquet was held at Bentwinds Country Club on Jan. 9 and attended by 175 people. Speakers were the Fuquay-Varina Mayor John Byrne and Howie Fraley, special assignment scout for the Philadelphia Phillies. There were seven people inducted into the first class of the Fuquay-Varina Hall of Fame. Pictured above are the 2010 Hall of Fame Inductees Daniel Boone, Will Hunt, Ron Jones, Milton Senter, Jeremy Cotton, and Bob Mangum—seated). Not pictured is Don Jones who died in 2001.

All except the late Don Jones spoke. Current coach Milton Senter was the last one introduced and he received a standing ovation from the very enthusiastic crowd.
