Sara Wilson Chandler, 98, passed away March 4, 2010 at Spring Arbor, Apex. She was born in Smithgrove, Ky. to the late Clarence Wilson and Myrtle Skaggs. Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Chandler and daughter, Ann Chandler Mackay.

Mrs. Chandler is survived by her son, Bob Chandler and wife Susan. Grandchildren, Kathie Malia (John), Elizabeth Mackay (Mark) and Jolara Mackay. Great Gandchildren, Johnathon and Jacob Malia. Son-In-Law, Jenks Mackay.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, March 9th at 11:30 AM at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville, NC. Also, there will be a memorial service on Sunday, March 14th at 12:15PM at Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church. The family would like to extended thier thanks to Spring Arbor and Amedisys Hospice Services for all the love and care they gave to Mrs. Chandler.
