Cle Easter Rains will celebrate her 99th birthday on Saturday, May 1. She was born in 1911 in Wake County and has lived her entire life in Apex. Cle had four children: a son, Bill Henry Rice, and a daughter, Gladys May Rice, are deceased. Both Betty and David Lee Rice survive and live in Detroit, Michigan. Friends will gather to celebrate her birthday on Monday, May 3.
