The bride is the daughter of Al and Jeanene Matthews of Angier. Her grandparents are David and Faye Lipscomb of Willow Spring; Max Matthews and the late Alice Matthews of Fuquay-Varina.
Parents of the groom are Marshall and Phyllis Atkins of Pilot Mountain. His grandparents are Ona Atkins and the late Glenn Atkins of Pilot Mountain; Nona Smith and the late Robert Smith of Pilot Mountain. Ryan works for BB&T and Brittany is an elementary school teacher. Both are graduates of UNC Wilmington. They will make their home in Wilmington.
